Production Company Name - Final
As a group we came to the idea of a final prodcution name for our group, its very unique to how it actually diaplyed and has a relation to media itself. the Initials of out names which would be Me would be 'C' Alex would be 'A' and 'M' for Matt. This spells at CAM which is short for Camera.

Script - 2 Draft
After a few opinions came through from the group about the script our group changed something of the script to come through on a second draft.
A person grabs some food, drink and the TV controller. Just before he sits down he turns on the TV, which is already up full volume. The intro music is played for DS (Death Show).
Showing two clips of ‘The LAW’ and the ‘Hawk’ in action just killing everybody. The two clips are shown at the same time, with a line down the middle.
Shows a four split screen of the game room, looking at what all of the cameras see at the same time.
Shows a 20 split screen of the battle location, looking at what all of the cameras see at the same time.
Searches through the cameras to find someone and then locates ‘The LAW’, who is barricading behind a car with a machine gun.
‘Hawk’ just wanders around from a corner in front of the ‘The LAW’, which ‘The LAW’ open fires upon ‘Hawk’, this forces ‘Hawk’ to hide behind the wall.
The ‘Hawk’grabs a grenade, then throws it over to ‘The LAW’ and at the same time shoots at ‘The LAW. This forces ‘The LAW’ to take cover and then gets blown up by the grenade.
‘The LAW’respawns at a different point of the battle location
Music starts to play, while ‘The LAW’ and the ‘Hawk’ keeps killing each other in different ways, then scoreboard keeps flipping, while it goes back to the game room looking at Stuart and Mark playing the game.
Both the‘Hawk’ and ‘The LAW’ stand still and just point their hand guns are each other.

Welcome back to DS, if you have just joined
us, the ‘Hawk’ and the remaining champion ‘The LAW’ are tied, with just the
sudden death match to, who will be the 2013
champion.
If any of you are unfamiliar with the sudden
death match, it is the first to 200 points wins the title, but for those have
just joined us, lets show what our severs did to this
hacker.

we ahve been discussin alot about devices and holders we can use for various shots inside of the short film, one way we could improve the smoothness of the overall frame shots is either buying a fig rig, which we wont have the money for or making one out of PVC piping from hand, this will get tid of all the horrible shaking and swaying in when your hands are in direct contact with the video camera and instead smooth out the wobbles so they become none on the les apparent to the eye
Visual Effects
My group member Alex approached me a while back asking how my experience with visual effects and how well couldi use it to give our film a more proffesional touch. He showed me a youtube video and asked if we could get something similair to it in out short film, and i agreed to him that we can.

One of our group members was thinking of an initial logo that we could use for out short film, its not too hard undertand and is rather easy to know its basics. but as most things so far this is only a draft of the final product.
Synopsis Final Draft
The film
opens up with a person grabbing some food and drinks, while grabbing the
controller for the TV. As he sits down, he turns on the TV, which sort of shouts
at him. On the TV both players (The LAW & Hawk) appear in a zig-zag vertical
split screen , while the commentators talk about that both 'The LAW' and 'Hawk'
had the highest points in Team Death match and the rest got killed. The
commentators then start to talk about what a sudden death match is and at the
same time a huge title of 'sudden death match' hits the screen, with a metal
sound to it. Then a video of horizontal split screen with lives going down left
to right, with a beep sound every time a life disappears. The commentators then
start to talk about the finalists and showing how good they are, while at the
same time a title 'finalists' hits the screen, with a metal sound to it. Then
two videos appear on a vertical split screen. The commentators then start to
talk about the cameras that are on the battlefield; while at the same time a
title 'cameras' hits the screen, with a metal sound to it, then shows the entire
camera visions that are on the battlefield. The commentator goes back to the
action on the battlefield, with the camera hover over West Europe, then goes
down to South East England. The camera then goes down to Medway, then goes down
to Lordswood and then finally the camera starts to hover over the location, the
name of the location and the coordinates appear in. The commentators starts to
move the camera left and right, while 'The LAW' appears from a wall and then
quickly hurries to the car, where he crouches and stays there. The 'Hawk'
wanders in front of 'The LAW' from a corner, which 'The LAW' open fires upon
'Hawk', this forces 'Hawk' to hide behind the wall, quickly. The 'Hawk' then
grabs a grenade then throws it over to 'The LAW', at the same time runs and
shoots at the 'The LAW'. Just as the 'Hawk' gets behind a wall 'The LAW' gets
blown up. The commentators start to talk about that kill and then 'The LAW'
respawns back into the battlefield. Then 'The LAW' and the 'Hawk' start to kill
each other over and over again, while the commentators continue speaking. 'The
LAW' and the 'Hawk' starts to run to the same point on the battlefield and then
just stop, while pointing their guns at each other, at the same time the camera
does a 360 degree spin around them both. At the same time the music suddenly
just stops, without the commentators speaking it is dead silent. The whole
screen then just goes black, which is a power cut at the Man #1 character's
house.

are showing the good points of both them. The commentators then start talking
about the cameras that are set up at the location, where the finalists are at,
by also showing a video, which is sped up showing all of the cameras visions at
the location, and then they go back to the live action. The camera is then over
looking Europe, slowly descending until it stops and the commentator's show and
tell the location of the battle. First see Stuart aka 'The LAW' barricading
behind a car with a machine gun and Mark aka 'Hawk' pops around the corner and
is unknown of 'The LAW', which 'The LAW' just open fires on the 'Hawk', which
then forces 'Hawk' to hide behind the wall. 'Hawk' then grabs a grenade, and
then throws it over to 'The LAW', while at the same time runs over to another
wall, while shooting at 'The LAW'. This force 'The LAW' to take cover and then
the grenade blows him up. Both sets of lives from both players are being shown,
along with the montage of deaths, then both of them start to run to the same
point, but unknown of each other, then they meet at just point their handguns at
each other, while both 'Hawk' and 'The LAW' are just one death from being dead.

How To Gun Fight - Tutorial
A youtuber channel called ‘samandniko’, which does loads of
short videos. Even though I know how to do a basic gun fight, I wanted to make
sure if there was anything else I was missing out to do a good looking gun
fight. So I located this video, which told me a few more tips on how to do a
good looking gun fight.

looking at these films we can see that Action short/features films are mostly at
a 15 certificate. So this gives our group a starting point for our target
audience. All of us feel that our film will appeal to both male and female
audiences that are interested in the Action genre.
So after looking at similar existing films, we can see that our short film target audience will be best suited for 15 - 30 year olds both male and female. However our group understands that this target audience will not include everyone from the age range.

In our short
film there is going to be at least four characters that the audience see’s and
another two, which is just going to be narrator voices(Commentators), so in total there is going to be
at least six characters. As our group thought of this idea for the short film,
Me and Matt weren’t keen on acting. As I was talking to
my group about the parts that was going to be in this short film, there was one
part where Matt wanted do. There was two parts, which was going to the main two
characters in the short film. So Alex quickly said that he was going to be one of
the main characters, then he got home that day he was going to ask his brother (as he
does drama outside of school) if he could be in the short film and he also
agreed.

Location - Research
With this location, it is the only place that our group actually discussed with each other. There are multiple reasons for this location; the first one is that I told the rest of the group that no ones working there on Sunday, so that would be the best day to do some filming. The second one is that it is quite far away from any houses, so when we are filming we aren't going to get stop nearly all the time. The third one is that this location is only about 5 - 10 minutes away from where our group lives.
